ResumeNerd is a great platform for creating tailored and professional-looking resumes and cover letters. They offer many job features and excellent job and resume advice. You can also cancel if you are not satisfied.

They offer a fantastic, up-to-date blog with great advice and built-in AI tools to help create any kind of resume, whether you are a software engineer, teacher, nurse, or pilot. They have been around since 2016 and allow you to turn your resume into a website.

There are three price options. The first is the 14-day trial option for $1.75. This offers many templates; however, when creating your first resume, you can only choose from 13 templates and eight colors before payment occurs. It renews at $24.75 every four weeks until you cancel it. Just be aware that if you do not cancel, you will be charged monthly, and they will not send an email reminder of payment.

The second option is a 3-month plan for $59.95, and the third is a yearly one for $99.95. However, it is important to note that ResumeNerd shares your private information and payment methods with third-party providers. As the Privacy Policy states, you may ask them not to do this only if you are a US citizen. The email for this request is privacy@resumenerd.com.

There are no free options, but you can download the text once you have created your resume.

ResemeNerd offers three different types of resume formats (chronological, functional, and combination), a cover letter builder, great AI tools that cover information such as skills and job particulars. The template creator offers a variety of professional-looking templates in an array of colors.

This platform offers a JobNerd job search and ResemeScore, which helps create the perfect resume. It also has a special language feature where you input the languages you know and your proficiency, showing a comparison bar between them. ResumeNerd also allows the creation of professional cover letters.

Template Library

Before subscribing, ResemeNerd offers 13 templates in 8 colors – black, teal, brown, purple, aqua, royal blue, dark green, and orange. After payment, you will have access to dozens of templates. The templates have clean, neat lines and will either show your name, such as “Theresa Smith,” on top or just your initials, as “TS.”

Customization Options

There are dozens of different templates with eight colors to choose from and you can format the resume in chronological, functional, and combination styles.

Ease of Use

The platform is extremely well-structured and user-friendly. After each step is completed, it flows smoothly through to the next step, from work experience to education to skills.

The UI and accessibility are great, and the speed works fast and is very reliable. However, there does not seem to be an app or mobile options at the moment.
