Coverage Details
Stateside Auto Warranty provides many coverage plans. These cover expensive repairs to the engine, drive axle, transmission, and turbocharger (all parts of the powertrain), as well as other comprehensive packages that suit all budgets.
They Do Not Cover the Following:
Issues Caused By Theft or Vandalism
If, for any reason, your car is stolen or vandalized and damages occur, they will most likely not be covered by the extended car warranty.
Wear and Tear
Certain car parts are expected to wear and tear over an extended period of time. These include wiper blades, tires, brake pads, and shock absorbers, which are typically not covered by the car warranty.
Vehicle Misuse or Abuse
All off-roading and competitive racing will not be covered by the warranty. If you misuse or use your car excessively, the car warranty will not apply.
Environmental Damages
If your vehicle is exposed to any sort of natural disaster, like floods, earthquakes, fires, or even extreme weather conditions, whether too hot or even hail damage, it will not be covered by the extended warranty.
Non-Mechanical Parts
Parts such as upholstery, bumpers, glass, and trim are usually not covered by your extended car warranty.
Incorrect Maintenance
If you want your warranty to remain valid, you need to take good care of your car. You have to follow the car’s manufacturer’s recommended maintenance schedule to keep your extended warranty valid.
Typical Maintenance
Every car needs routine maintenance like oil changes, which aren’t covered by your extended warranty.
Additional Benefits
Additional benefits of the Stateside Vehicle Warranty include personal injury protection, certain accident forgiveness, and roadside assistance.
Repair Process & Options
Repairs are executed at all dealers and mechanics.
Claim Process
It is best to contact your representative that Stateside Auto Warranty gives you at their partnering warranty company for information about claim coverage. However, you will receive certain perks no matter what plan you choose.
You can claim unlimited times during the year whenever your car breaks down. This is great news, especially if you own an old model with high mileage.
Stateside Auto Warranty also does not require pre-approval for claims. All that’s needed is a visit to the closest ASE-certified (Automotive Certified Excellence) mechanic to repair your car during a breakdown. This makes the entire claim process run much smoother.
Transferability & Cancelation
Yes, you can transfer your plan should you sell your car. However, to ensure this, it is best to speak to someone first from your warranty insurance plan that Stateside Auto Warranty gives you before transferring.
Thank you!
