As mentioned above, the covered repairs and parts depend on the plan you take.
- The Superior plan covers Engine, Transmission, A/C, Fuel System, Electrical, High-Tech Options, Brakes, Cooling System, Drive Axle, Suspension, Hybrid Coverage, Steering, Transfer Case, Turbo/Supercharger, 24/7 Roadside Assistance, and Rental Car Benefits.
- The Supreme plan is the most comprehensive and covers Engine, Transmission, A/C, Fuel System, Electrical, High-Tech Options, Seals & Gaskets, Cooling System, Transfer Case, Drive Axle, Brakes, Cooling System, Suspension, Hybrid Coverage, Steering, Transfer Case, Turbo/Supercharger, 24/7 Roadside Assistance, and Rental Car Benefits.
- The Secure Plus plan covers Engine, Transmission, A/C, Brakes, Drive Axle, Hybrid Coverage, Steering, Transfer Case, Turbo/Supercharger, Roadside Assistance, and Rental Car Benefits.
*They do not cover existing car problems.
Additional benefits
The warranty includes 24/7 roadside assistance, and for the first year (at a one-time price of $29), you are covered for the Endurance Mobile App, Total Loss Protection, Complete Tire Coverage, Collision Discount, and Key Fob Replacement.
There are rental car benefits. All licensed repair facilities, including dealerships, chain, and local repair shops, honor Endurance plans. Their website connects you to ASE Certified mechanics at shops nationwide.
The warranty kicks in after the first 30 days, and there is a money-back guarantee as long as you don’t claim within those 30 days.
Repair Process & Options
Repairs are executed at all licensed repair facilities, including dealerships, chain shops, and local repair shops. OEM parts and parts of similar quality may be used.
Claim Process
The dealership or you must phone Endurance to initiate the claim process. An inspector will then come to look at your car, which can take up to four days. Endurance will either approve or decline the claim. This process cannot be done online, and claims can take up to a few weeks.
Your repair shop usually submits your claim. Once it is approved, the shop repairs your car and submits an invoice to Endurance. Claims are paid upfront to the repair shop.
Transferability & Cancelation
The warranty is transferrable if the vehicle is sold. You can often transfer the warranty to the owner of your car. However, you must contact Endurance first just to make sure that this can be done with your particular plan, and you should ask for a written guarantee.
The trial period is 30 days. They give you this so that you can thoroughly read through the terms and conditions of your contract and make sure you are happy with it.
