Coverage Details

When you purchase a car warranty plan from American Dream Auto Protect, you can choose from three types of coverage: Silver, Gold, and Platinum. All plans offer comprehensive coverage for your vehicle’s most essential components. Additionally, you can customize each plan to your budget and liking to ensure you only pay for the coverage you need.

All plans cover:

• Engine (Gasoline/Diesel)
• Transmission
• Cooling System
• Electrical Components
• Drive Axle
• Brakes (4×4/AWD)
• Fuel Delivery

Gold plan also covers:

• Steering

Platinum plan additionally covers:

• Navigation/GPS
• Air Conditioning
• Seals and Gaskets
• Suspension

No matter the protection you buy, all three packages offer very comprehensive protection for your vehicle. However, normal wear and tear and damage from misuse or neglect aren’t covered, and routine maintenance is also not covered in any of the plans.

It is worth noting that there is a limit to some of the claims. For example, should you need to take advantage of the rental car coverage, then be aware that they will only reimburse you up to $35/day for a maximum of 6 days. That means if a repair takes longer than six days, then you need to cover the cost of the car rental yourself for the remaining period.

All plans from American Dream Auto Protect include access to a network of over 50,000 ASE-certified repair shops over the country, giving you the flexibility to find a suitable repair shop for your needs. They also offer a full money-back guarantee within 30 days of signing a contract with them, provided you haven’t made any claims. All plans offer 24/7 roadside assistance and rental car coverage, but restrictions may apply.

Repair Process & Options

All three plans from American Dream Auto Protect allow you to choose between over 50,000 repair shops in the country. However, the repair shop needs to be approved and ASE-certified. The use of aftermarket parts or OEM (original equipment manufacturer parts) depends on your specific contract with American Dream Auto-Protect and the repair shop.

Claim Process

It is easy to make a claim with American Dream Auto Protect. The first step is to inform American Dream Auto Protect about the malfunction by phone or online. From there, you need to bring your car to an approved mechanic, who will then diagnose the cause of the breakdown.

Next, the claims department will determine if the claim falls within your coverage. The approval process typically takes a few hours to a few days. The payment will be handled directly between American Dream Auto Protect and the dealer. Your premium will not be affected when you make a car warranty claim with American Dream Auto Protect.

Transferability & Cancelation

All American Dream Auto Protect plans have a 30-day trial period, allowing you to cancel your contract without being charged a service fee. However, please note that this only applies if you haven’t made any warranty claims in the period. The plan is transferable if you sell your vehicle, but some exceptions may apply.

If you cancel your contract after the 30-day trial period, you will face a charge of a $75 service fee for the cancellation.
